🎮 How to Play
Game Setup
- Select Profiles: Each player chooses or creates a wizard profile with a magical school (Fire, Water, Earth, or Air)
- Choose Game Mode: Select between Quick Battle (3 rounds) or Epic Battle (5 rounds)
- Start Battle: Players take turns selecting spells in secret
Battle Mechanics
- Attack Spells: Deal damage to your opponent
- Defense Spells: Block or reflect incoming attacks
- Support Spells: Heal yourself or apply special effects
Spell interactions follow a rock-paper-scissors system with magical twists!
Turn System
To ensure fair play:
- Player 1 sees a "Get Ready" countdown screen
- Player 1 selects their spell privately (15 seconds)
- Device is passed to Player 2
- Player 2 sees their countdown and selects a spell
- Both spells are revealed simultaneously!

Q: Can I play against the computer?
A: Magic Duel is designed as a local multiplayer game. Both players share the same device and take turns selecting spells.
Q: How many wizard profiles can I create?
A: You can create up to 10 wizard profiles, allowing multiple players to track their statistics.
Q: What happens if time runs out during spell selection?
A: A random available spell will be automatically selected to keep the game flowing.
Q: Are there special advantages for different schools?
A: Yes! When both players use spells from the same school, special combo effects may occur.
Q: Can I delete or edit wizard profiles?
A: Yes, you can manage all profiles from the "Manage Wizards" menu on the main screen.
🔧 Troubleshooting
Issue: Game crashes or freezes
Solution: Force quit the app and restart. Your wizard profiles are automatically saved.
Issue: Sound not working
Solution: Check your device's volume and ensure the mute switch is off. You can also toggle sounds in the game settings.
Issue: Profile statistics not updating
Solution: Statistics are updated after completing a full game. Exiting mid-battle won't save results.
